Issues : Errors in EE
b. 423
|
composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt III
..
In FE the 1st beat is written an octave lower and it was supposed to be encompassed with an octave sign, which, however, begins only from the 2nd beat of the bar. In EE1 the octave sign starts only from the next bar, which seems to be a result of a misunderstanding during an attempt to correct the mistake of FE. The subsequent EE already include the correct text, compliant with A (→GE). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Errors in EE |

The dot in EE is most probably a mistake of the engraver who considered the staccato mark to be the dot ending the Ped. abbreviation in FE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE |
