Discrepancies in the marking of the first a1 in bar 67 with an ornament should be analysed with taking into account the analogy with bars 71 and 75. In all three places GE has , while in FE (→EE) an ornament () appears only in bar 75. In that context both markings mean the same, yet it is not clear whether Chopin ultimately wanted to change for in bar 75 alone, or also in bars 67 & 71, where it was realised partly due to misunderstanding or oversight. Therefore we supplement the main text with the sign  in parentheses.

Our suggestion

Only GE has stretto in bars 67-68. It is difficult to decide whether it was removed from FE as intended by Chopin during proofreading or omitted by the engraver. For that reason the main text leaves the possible application of stretto up to the performer.

Discrepancies in the marking of the note a1 in bar 71 with an ornament should be analysed with taking into account the analogy with bars 67 and 75. At the beginning of bars 67, 71 and 75 GE has ,while FE (→ EE) have  only in bar. 75. In that context both markings mean the same, yet it is not clear whether Chopin ultimately wanted to have  only in bar 75, or also in bars 67 and 71, therefore we supplement the musical notation with the sign  in parentheses.

The lack of staccato dots in FE (→EE) is probably due to an oversight. Similarly in bars 75-76.

A short sign in GE, if only reproduced precisely after [A], is most probably a long accent. The lack of the sign in FE (→EE) is almost certainly an engraver's oversight.
