In A (→FE→EE,GE1→GE2) there are naturals before the upper notes on the last semiquaver of each group (b1). The unjustified accidentals were removed in GE3 (→GE4). Cf. bars 4 and 12, as well as 37-39.

In A in both bars Chopin wrote and then crossed out the flats (cautionary?) before the 1st d quaver.

A  heightening g1 to g1 is missing from all the sources. The use of g1 between f1 and g1 is so obvious in this context that the error went unnoticed for several dozen years.

Chopin hesitated whether to put cautionary flats before d1 and d3. The signs are included in the earliest source (AT) and in the published version, including GC (→GE), FE and EE. In turn, in CDP there is only the second of them, while AW included the first one (in the L.H.), yet Chopin eventually deleted it. Despite this fact, in the main text we give exactly this , returned in the later sources and, according to us, justified.

In front of a1, the bottom note of the 4th third, all sources include . The sign is totally unjustified in this place (we omit it in the main text), however, it reveals Chopin's doubt, as far as the notation of the a/a note in the Gkey is concerned (cf. the note to bar 7).
