The missing R.H. slurs in bars 345-346 are most probably Chopin's oversight (as in bar 342), hence it would be appropriate to add slurs. We suggest four versions:
- as the main text: three slurs corresponding to the version of bars 341-343 completed by Chopin while proofreading FE;
- a continuous slur modelled on the slur in bars 359-361;
- an intermediate version with two slurs, in which the division of a continuous slur (modelled on bars 359-361) results from maintaining the slur entered by Chopin into A at the beginning of bar 347 separate;
- another intermediate version, in which we keep the integrity of a whole-bar slur analogous to the one written by Chopin in bar 341.
