  b. 48-49

c1 repeated in As & GE

c1 tied in FE (→EEW)

The main text comes from FE (→EEW). From a source point of view, there are no grounds to question the version of FE – see the note on bars 8-9. On the other hand, such a non-played grace note is highly unusual for Chopin, hence, taking into account a possible mistake in the version of FE, we consider the version of GE, analogous to bars 8-9, an acceptable variant.
