Issues : Omission of current key accidentals

b. 34

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

..

There is no  over  in the sources, which is a patent inaccuracy, certainly repeated after [A]. The same applies to analogous b. 60 and 293.

b. 41

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

No accidental (d) in GE & FE1

 (d) in FE2 & EE

..

According to us, although Chopin would often use dominant chords with a lowered fifth, the missing raising d to d here is most probably an oversight. Chopin corrected it in FE1, but only the second time this place appears, i.e. in b. 67. Therefore, in the discussed bar we follow the most probably correctly supplemented version of FE2 and EE.

b. 58-59

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

..

In FE1 there is not a single  raising g to g (in various octaves). The mistake, almost certainly committed by Chopin, was corrected in FE2 and EE with FE2 limiting itself to the g1-g2 octave in b. 58 and L.H. g1 in b. 59. The same applies to b. 291-292.

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

No accidental (d) in GE

(d) in FE (→EE)

..

According to us, the version with d resulted from Chopin having overlooked the in [A] (→GE). Therefore, in the main text we include the present in FE (→EE) and added presumably by Chopin while proofreading FE1.
