b. 42

composition: Op. 28 No. 16, Prelude in B♭ minor

Accent in A (→FEEE)

No mark in FC (→GE)

..

It is the copyist's distraction in the ending of the piece that is responsible for the missing accent in FC (→GE) – see next note.

b. 45

composition: Op. 28 No. 16, Prelude in B♭ minor

Staccato dot in A (→FC,FE)

No mark in GE

2 dots in EE

..

The missing staccato dot over the f4 quaver is an oversight of the engraver of GE, and the second one added over the L.H. quaver – a revision of EE (in such type of texture Chopin would often regard the articulation markings – dots, slurs – written over the R.H. part as applying to both parts).
