The change of time signature from  to  is a frequent inaccuracy of French editions – cf., e.g. the Etude in C, Op. 10 No. 1, b. 1. In the second book of Preludes, in all three provided with  in A, i.e. E Minor, No. 14, B Minor, No. 16 and F Minor, No. 18, it was reproduced as .

The 4th L.H. quaver is written in A slightly to low, so as to be reproduced in FE (→EE1) as d (in spite of a distinct e1 in the R.H.). EE2 corrected the error.

Staccato dot in A

No mark in FC (→GE) & FE (→EE)

The staccato dot, quite distinct in A, was overlooked both in FC (→GE) and FE (→EE), perhaps due to its placement, since it was quite high above the note, on the bottom line of the top stave.
