b. 31-32

composition: Op. 43, Tarantella

A, GE

FC3 (→FEIE), EE

..

In FC3 (→FEIE), EE there is no break in the slur in bars 31-32. This error must have occured when Fontana was making subsequent copies of the manuscript as [FC1] must have beeen identical to A since in GE we find the correct slurring.

In FC3 eis not tied across the barline. In all first editions the tie is correctly noted, which may sugguest that Chopin revised this place or so did in parallel all the editors of the first editions. Compare annotation in b. 31.

b. 39-40

composition: Op. 43, Tarantella

A, FC3 (→FEIE), EE

In all sources except GE the slur over the phrase spanning bars 36-43 is divided over the barline between bars 39-40 on the tied c1-echord. We leave an undivided slur in line with corresponding bars 23-24.
