Small quavers in GE2 (→GE3)

Small semiquavers in GE2 (→GE3)

We keep the notation of the majority of the sources, in which the double grace note is written in quavers. However, in the face of A, one can ponder whether Chopin did not forget to add the top beam of the semiquaver beaming, since in analogous b. 404 all sources feature small semiquavers.

Both here and in b. 305 Chopin crossed out the  marks in A and replaced them with double grace notes, like in b. 278 & 280.

b. 306

composition: Op. 31, Scherzo in B♭ minor

..

In A the  before the middle note of the L.H. chord is placed clearly too low, which in this case could have been due to the intention of avoiding collision with the bar line. Fontana correctly interpreted the meaning of that mark in FC (→GE); however, in FE the sharp was initially ascribed to the bottom note of the chord, g. That erroneous version got to EE1 and was then corrected through the addition of a proper  both in the last phase of proofreading of FE and in EE2 (→EE3).
