A comparison with b. 266-267 and analog. (7 places in total) points to Chopin's patent mistake. Therefore, in the main text we include the ties added in GE2 (→GE3). The tie of f was added already in FE (→EE), which is probably a revision of the engraver, who added the missing tie in the chord on the bottom stave as part of his routine activities (such routine additions are evidenced in the Mazurka in D Major, Op. 33 No. 3, b. 8-9 and 24-25).

There is no  raising d to d in A (→FE→EE1). Chopin's patent inaccuracy was corrected by Fontana in FC (→GE); a  was also added in EE2 (→EE3).

In A (→FC→GE1, →FE→EE1) there is no accidental before the last crotchet in the R.H. It must be a mistake, cf., e.g. analogous b. 497. Oversight of an accidental necessary for writing a note belonging to a currently valid key is one of Chopin's most frequent mistakes. A natural was added only just in GE2 (→GE3) and EE2 (→EE3); it was also added in FESf.

In A (→FE,FC→GE1) there is no  lowering g2 to g2 and no  lowering e2 to e2.  A flat was added already in EE1, whereas it is only just EE2 (→EE3) and GE2 (→GE3) that include the correct text.

The overlooked slurs are almost certainly an inaccuracy of notation, both in A (→EE) and FC (→GE1). The slur added in b. 512 (only!) in EE is probably a mistake; just like in FE, the engraver placed slurs in the entire line; however, he did not notice that in FE the line ends a bar earlier than in EE. In the main text we complete the slurring of A; such a procedure was performed also in GE2 (→GE3).
