b. 73-74
|
composition: Op. 22, Polonaise
..
In the main text we add a cautionary before b2 in b. 73. The accidental was already added in GE as well as in EE2. Moreover, we add flats lowering c1 to c1 in b. 73 and c to c in b. 74, overlooked in FE. The former was added both in GE and EE, while the latter only in GE and EE2. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Accidentals in different octaves , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , Errors repeated in EE |

b. 75
|
composition: Op. 22, Polonaise
..
The sources are lacking in the raising b to b, which is a patent inaccuracy. The same in b. 219. category imprint: Interpretations within context issues: Accidentals in different octaves , Inaccuracies in FE , Errors repeated in GE , Errors repeated in EE |

b. 97
|
composition: Op. 22, Polonaise
..
In FE (→EE) the 1st rest in the parts of both hands is a demisemiquaver, which is a mistake (it is likely that the beginning of this bar was confused with the previous one). The mistake was corrected in GE. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Errors in FE , GE revisions , Rhythmic errors , Errors repeated in EE |

b. 149
|
composition: Op. 22, Polonaise
..
There is no lowering G to G at the beginning of the bar in FE (→EE1). This mistake, if committed by Chopin, would prove his anticipatory thinking – modulation to the key of B minor/G major was already determined in the previous bar, hence the use of G could have already been considered obvious (in FE the spaces between the notes suggest that the before g and maybe even all 3 L.H. flats were added at the time of proofreading). The accidental was added in the remaining editions. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , GE revisions , Omission of current key accidentals , Errors repeated in EE |

b. 151
|
composition: Op. 22, Polonaise
..
All sources feature a quaver at the beginning of the bar, as a result of which the bar includes 13 semiquavers. It cannot be excluded that the mistake was already in [A]. category imprint: Interpretations within context issues: Errors in FE , Rhythmic errors , Errors repeated in GE , Errors repeated in EE |
