b. 38-39

composition: Op. 19, Bolero

Slur to e2 in FE

Slur fo f2 in GE & EE2 (→EE3)

No slur in EE1

..

In FE one can see traces of proofreading of an earlier, inaccurate slur, encompassing four semiquavers only. This too short slur is present also in GE, which most probably means that the correction in FE was performed in the last stage of proofreading. The absence of the slur in EE1 resulted from the engraver's oversight, corrected in EE2 (→EE3), most probably on the basis of comparison with GE.

b. 40-49

composition: Op. 19, Bolero

No slurs in FE (→GE,EE1)

Slurs in EE2 (→EE3)

..

In EE2 (→EE3), both here and in analogous bar 49, the reviser added a slur for the 2nd and 3rd quavers in the L.H. – probably under the influence of a similar slurring in bars 34-36.

b. 122

composition: Op. 19, Bolero

..

In FE, there is a visible trace of proofreading of the ending of the slur that initially encompassed bar 122 only.
