In GE, is only in the middle of bar 259, which certainly does not correspond to Chopin's intention. Repeating chords in various registers is a virtuoso procedure used by Chopin quite often in the endings of his pieces. At the same time, they are always in , or dynamics (cf. the Polonaise in E major, op. 22), even after a previous diminuendo: cf. the Fantasy in A major, op. 13, Rondo in E major, op. 16, Waltz in E major, op. 18).
