The version of FE1 (→FE2) is certainly erroneous, which is proved by Chopin proofreading in FE3 (→FE4) and FESch. The correct version of EE can also be a result of Chopin's correcting the base text to this edition.

The c note present at the beginning of bars 59 and 63 in GC (→GE) and FE1 (→FE2) is the original version of the bass in these bars. Chopin changed them to e in the proofreading of FE3 (→FE4), in the base text to EE and FESch. In the corresponding bar of the recapitulation (bar 187), the fifth as the base of chord is present accordingly in all sources.

The version with e3 present in FE1 (→FE2→EE1) (in both FE without the necessary  in this situation) is almost certainly erroneous. It is proved by: c3 written in GC (→GE) and the Chopinesque corrections in FESch and FE3 (→FE4). The correct version with c3 is written inaccurately in some of the sources – the necessary  is only in GE and EE2. Further omissions of accidentals – see the adjacent note.

In GC and FE (→EE1) there are no naturals raising e1 to e1 in the 3rd crotchet in bar 143 and e3 to e3 in the 6th quaver in bar 144. The first of them was added in FED, both were added in GE and EE2.

Similarly as in the previous bars, GC and FE1 (→FE2→FE3) lack seven accidentals before the notes which were previously already correctly written in another octave. These patent inaccuracies do not impede the interpretation and they were completed in the subsequent sources to a varied extent (including FED, in which a  before the top note of the 3rd crotchet in bar 150 was added). It is only EE2 that has the fully correct text.
