EE is the only source in which the crescendo marking appears. It is certainly an arbitrary addition by analogy with bar 7.

The crescendo hairpin appears only in EE, modelled probably on the sign in analogous bar 91 although placed differently, i.e. below instead of above the upper staff. However, in the editors' opinion the analogy here fails to include dynamics, as Chopin probably wanted the dynamic line of the phrase in bars 90-93 to differ from that in bars 23-26 – in the Nocturne ending more emphasis is placed on the last bar, provided with additional accents and the indication con duolo.

Both dynamic markings added in EE1 (→EE2) and EE3 are definitely arbitrary additions introduced by the revisers of EE. A similar revision was introduced in bar 92.

We add a cautionary natural before e2. We also supplement that sign in EE

In bars 27-28 in GE (→FE) the naturals lowering d1 to d1 are missing. It is almost certain that they also were absent from [A]. These obvious inaccuracies were corrected in EE.
