Issues : Inaccuracies in FE
b. 131
|
composition: Op. 64 No 2, Waltz in C♯ minor
..
In the main text we unify the range of the hairpins in bars 131-132 and 135-136 on the basis of the notation of A in bar 3 and 7-8. The signs in FE begin earlier and in the remaining editions they were extended even more: in GE1op and GE1no2 on the right-hand side, in the remaining – on the left-hand side. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions |

b. 140-141
|
composition: Op. 64 No 2, Waltz in C♯ minor
..
The beginning of the slur in FE is written slightly inaccurately, which explains an earlier beginning of the slur in all the remaining editions (one quaver too early). The interpretation of the slur of A – see bars 12-13. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE |

composition: Op. 64 No 2, Waltz in C♯ minor

Similarly as in bars 33-44 (in the autographs the discussed bars are not written out), we reproduce the range of the hairpins in the main text on the basis of A. In FE the first 4 signs correspond with the range to the notation of A, however, the next are slightly longer. The remaining editions include signs of the same, six-quaver length. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , Inaccuracies in FE , Scope of dynamic hairpins , EE inaccuracies |

In the main text we give the hairpin on the basis of A. In FE and in the remaining editions – notwithstanding minor differences between them – started one quaver earlier (only in GE1no2 the sign, probably as a result of an accidental shortening, has a range compatible with A). category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , Inaccuracies in FE |
