The moment of the division of the slur – after the 3rd or the 4th quaver of the bar – is not completely clearly marked in A. The interpretation of FE (→EE) is graphically less likely and at the same time pianistically less natural, therefore, in the main text we choose the first, definitely more likely possibility. In the editions the sign, in A placed under the c minim (it is generally a "very long" accent), was moved between the staves, which hinders its correct interpretation.
