In GE1 the sempre piano indication, in GC and EE placed under the part of the L.H. in bar 39, was assigned to bar 46, written below. The mistake was corrected in GE2 (→GE3), yet moving the indication between the staves. The erroneous value of the bass e – double dotted minim – written in GC (→GE1) was probably supposed to, according to Chopin's intention, provide a simultaneous decay (before the rest) of all three voices.
