The value of the double dotted minim of the bass e in GC (→GE1) is clearly erroneous – it exceeds the bar and overlaps the new phrase, in which the first bass note is an e1. According to us, by adding extending dots to the minim, Chopin wanted to give it a value equal to the sum of the values of the top voices, so the three voices de away before the rest at the same time. As it is impossible to be done with one note, in the main text we suggest the solution applied in GE2 (→GE3). Similarly in bar 66. In turn, in bar 86 (and the remaining sources in all three analogous bars), GC has only an e minim. It is most probably the original version, simpler, yet less accurate.
