Issues : Accidentals in different octaves

b. 15

composition: Op. 25 No 1, Etude in A♭ major

..

In A, CDP, and FE, there is no  raising d1 to d1. This patent oversight was corrected in GE and EE. AI also includes the correct text.

b. 22

composition: Op. 25 No 1, Etude in A♭ major

Many sources lack in one or both naturals before the bottom notes in the R.H. in the 1st and 2nd group of semiquavers. CDP lacks in both signs, while A (→GE1), FE and EE only the second. The correct notation is included in AI and GE2 (→GE3).

AI and EE1 lack in the  raising d2 to d2 at the beginning of the 2nd group of semiquavers.

b. 23

composition: Op. 25 No 1, Etude in A♭ major

In some of the sources the notation of accidentals in this bar is less accurate, which, however, does not influence the clarity of the text. In A and FE, all the necessary accidentals before the lowest notes of particular groups in the R.H. and top notes in the L.H. are missing. The same probably applies also to CDP, although it is hard to conclusively state due to a serious mistake committed by the copyist in this place. The notation of AI is more precise – Chopin wrote there both naturals raising d1 to d1. In turn, the situation in EE is just the opposite – it is exactly these naturals that are missing. GE added all the necessary signs.

b. 33

composition: Op. 25 No 1, Etude in A♭ major

The flat raising d2 to d2 was added only in EE2 (→EE3) and GE2 (→GE3). There is no doubt that Chopin committed a mistake here, in face of the  before d1 in the L.H.
