In FE (→EE,GE1) the slur embraces the entire R.H. part in this bar. In the editors' opinion a misunderstanding of A is more probable than a correction. Therefore, in the main text we adopt the A version with a slur embracing only the run (in all analogous bars – 58, 114 and 162 – the slur was rendered this way in all editions). The slur in the subsequent GE,s was assimilated to its remaining occurences.

We give the stems extending the sound of the 2nd and 4th quavers in the L.H. after A. All editions omitted them here, in bar 18 and in all their subsequent repetitions, probably due to the engraver's misunderstandig Chopin's notation.
