Lack of the wedge in EE2 is certainly a mistake. The wedge in the L.H. is most probably a revision of GE and EE3 (→EE4).

In GE2 the accents were replaced with short  marks, which were extended in GE3. All these and later changes (in subsequent GE,s) are a result of arbitrary interventions of the engravers or revisers. EE2 omits the accents, which is one of a numerous errors of this type present in this edition. The marks – in the form of short accents – were added in EE3 (→EE4).
