  b. 16

 &  in A

No markings in FE (→GE,EE)

Omission of  and  written in A may be an error of the engraver of FE (→GE,EE) or a result of Chopin's proofreading. In the main text we give the version of the editions, in which the level of dynamics of the ending of the phrase is not specified. It is worth observing that locally the lack of these indications only adds shade to the dynamic flow of this fragment, as cresc. in bars 14-15 and an accent in the middle of bar 16 were retained.
