Issues : Authentic corrections of FE
b. 28-29
|
composition: Op. 10 No 10, Etude in A♭ major
..
According to us, the agogic indications written in A were overlooked in FE (→GE,EE). However, Chopin's proofreading cannot be entirely excluded, much less the acceptance of the lack of these indications. Therefore, in the main text we give them in brackets, leaving their use to the performer's taste. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 29-31
|
composition: Op. 10 No 10, Etude in A♭ major
..
In FE (→GE,EE) these bars are written with four sharp key signatures, as a result of which in each bar d notes must be provided with accidental naturals. It is probably an error of the engraver, perhaps relying on the previous section in E major (bars 17-22). Similarly in bars 32-34. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Authentic corrections of FE |
