In order to mark the staccato articulation, the engraver of GE (→FEEE) used only dots in the entire Mazurka.  This is inconsistent with Chopin's notation in A, in which dots and wedges are relatively easy to distinct from their graphic appearance.

Dots were written with single light touches of the pen and most often look like points. Wedges are slightly elongated and usually thicker.  In the discussed bar, and also e.g. in bar  25, Chopin clearly shaped the signs as wedges.

In FE (→EE), the articulation mark is altogether absent here (cf. bar 13 and bars 5 and 9).
