In the pedalling of bars 29-36, added in a proofreading of FE, the last  mark in bar 36 was omitted, which is almost certainly a mistake. The error was repeated only in GE1.

In bars 37, 45 and 48 Chopin added '4' digits in a proofreading of FE (→GE), resembling the basic fingering scheme of the Etude. In EE Chopin's hints were completed in bars 37-45, adding 18 fours under notes.

In A (→FEEE3) there is no  before the 9th semiquaver of the bar (g1). This patent inaccuracy was corrected in GE and EE4.

Chopin added the fingering while proofreading FE (→GE). In EE Fontana completed it in bars 51 and 53. The digit added at the end of bar 51 does not stem from Chopin's indications.
