b. 19-28
|
composition: Op. 10 No 2, Etude in A minor
..
In the main text we give the fingering written by Chopin in FEcor. FE (→GE,EE) reproduced it with small imprecision, commented separately: '2' was omitted at the beginning of bar 20 and three digits in bars 25 and 26. In these bars Ap has only one fingering digit, '1' at the end of bar 26. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 25-26
|
composition: Op. 10 No 2, Etude in A minor
..
In FEcor, apart from the '1' digit over the last e2 in bar 25 and '2-5' for the g2-e3 sixth at the beginning of bar 26, Chopin also wrote two '4' digits. The digits were not included in FE (→GE,EE), which may have stemmed from a misunderstanding. According to us, Chopin wanted to indicate an alternative fingering in this way, which we suggest in this form in the main text. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 25
|
composition: Op. 10 No 2, Etude in A minor
..
The fingering digit for the lower voice, despite having been written by Chopin in FEcor, does not appear in FE (→GE,EE). It is probably a result of the engraver's inaccuracy. category imprint: Differences between sources |

composition: Op. 10 No 2, Etude in A minor

In the main text we give the detailed fingering given by Chopin in FEcor (→FE→GE,EE). In Ap Chopin marked here a few digits, including one – in bar 33 – different than in the printed version. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE |
