Out of three '1's Chopin wrote in A, only the first two were included in FE, which is probably a result of the engraver's oversight. In turn, two other digits added during a proofreading at the end of the bar certainly come from Chopin. Both in EE and in GE, the fingering adopted from FE was completed in the 3rd group of semiquavers. In the main text we suggest all certainly authentic digits included in A and FE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , GE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE |

In A (→FE) there is no before the 4th semiquaver, which is a patent oversight. The sign was added in GE and EE. All signs in the 2nd group of semiquavers are our addition, introduced due to different rules of their validity with an octave sign. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions |

The engraver of FE probably assumed that lack of stem combining A and e is an example of inaccurate notation, quite often found in Chopin's autographs. In GE and EE the notation was simplified even more, omitting the point extending the bass note A. In the main text we give the precise notation of A. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Different values of chord components , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions |

In A (→FE) there is no accidental before the 4th semiquaver. There is no reason to doubt that it is a typical of Chopin inaccuracy, resulting from the rules of validity of the accidentals, which in fact were not fully established in Chopin's notation. It is confirmed by the written in this place in FED. In spite of this, in GE1 (→GE2) there is a before this note, which is certainly a mistake. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Annotations in teaching copies , EE revisions , Annotations in FED , Accidentals in different octaves , Errors in GE , GE revisions , Inaccuracies in A |
