The slurring in the L.H. in bar 55 was added by Chopin during a proofreading of FE (→GE,EE). Lack of relevant addition in bar 56 in FE (→GE1) must be considered as the composer's oversight. The slurs modeled on the slurs in the R.H. were added in GE2 (→GE3GE4), while EE repeats the slurring of the previous bar (see also the note to bar 56). In the main text we suggest the first solution, as undoubtedly more accurate – cf. bar 54.

In A (→FE1EE3) there is no  returning b1 on the penultimate semiquaver. It is undoubtedly an oversight, corrected in FE2, GE and EE4.

In FE1, the  raising b1 to b1 is only in the 3rd group of semiquavers. The error was corrected in FE2 by adding a relevant  also in the 2nd group. The mistake was also corrected by revisers of GE and EE, who moved the sign from the 3rd beat to the 2nd. In the main text we give both signs due to graphic reasons (division of the bar between two lines of the text).

In A (→FE1) there are no naturals returning c2 on the 10th and 15th semiquavers. The composer's oversight is completely clear, yet in FE2 was added only on the 4th beat. The revisers of GE and EE correctly completed the text.
