composition: Op. 45, Prelude in C♯ minor

FE1 lacks flats in front of the second and sixth quaver. The accidentals were added in FE2 and EE. The latter also adds  in front of b1 on the last quaver. All three mentioned accidentals are also present in GE.

Two  in FE

For the main text – as in the remaining similar fragments – we adopt the version based on GE. The version of FE can be considered as an equivalent variant of the notation. EE has one sign, similarly to GE, which results from the interpretation of the signs of FE as the ones marking the continuation of the change of dynamics.

Accidentals in FE1

GE and FE2

..

Lack of flats in front of two last quavers is a patent inaccuracy of FE1, corrected in FE2. GE also has a correct text. A suitable addition was also introduced to EE, in which, however, the pitch of the fourth quaver was changed from c2 to c2, as well as of the sixth one - from fto f2 (f2?).

FE1 is lacking  in front of the second quaver, which was added in FE2 and EE. GE also has a correct text. See the remark concerning bars 28-37.

b. 40

composition: Op. 45, Prelude in C♯ minor

..

In FE1 there is no  in front of the last quaver. As far as the melody is concerned, an f2 would not be possible here, but taking into account analogous situations in bars 44 and 48 the omission of the accidental has to be considered the most likely version. Adequate additions were introduced into FE2 and EE. The  is also in GE.
