Issues : Accidentals in different octaves

In JC there is no  lowering a3 into a3, which is a patent error; in the copy there is also no relevant sign before a2. PE is also missing a flat before the latter, which can correspond to the notation of [A], as Chopin often extended the validity of cautionary accidentals onto entire passages or scales of this kind.

The same applies to bar 46, marked in the sources as a repetition of bar 19.

The natural raising binto bis featured only in JC (cf. the note on other naturals in this bar). It is certainly a result of using different convention regulating the rules of validity of the accidentals taking into consideration the octave sign.

In JC, the  before the 6th semiquaver is erroneously written on the level of d2. Moreover, the manuscript also features a  before b1 on the 9th semiquaver.
In PE, the  appears before bon the 4th semiquaver (due to different range of the octave sign), as well as before b1 on the 9th semiquaver (instead of a more justified sign before the 6th semiquaver).
In EF, the notation of accidentals does not differ from the one adopted by us.

In the sources there is no  before a1. It is related to different range of the octave sign at the beginning of the bar: the second semiquaver triplet is still not embraced by it, which makes that the  on the level of a(in the notation) appears already before the 6th semiquaver of the bar.

Lack of the  raising f1 into fin JC and PE is a patent Chopin's oversight.
