The word broken into syllables in EE

Although the notation of A is quite clear, its interpretation is not. In a similar situation in bars 100-101 cresc. is placed in a similar manner, but almost entirely in bar 101 and this is how it was read in the editions. It is possible that also in bars 38-39 Chopin connected the beginning of the crescendo with the beginning of the second section of the progression, and he put the indication slightly earlier to ensure legibility of the manuscript to avoid the overlapping of the inscription and the L.H. crotchet.

It is worth noting that in analogous bars 46-47 and 108-109 cresc. begins with the new bar, and in the latter case, when bar 109 opens a new line, Chopin employed the solution adopted by us.

In EE the division into syllables is definitely the editor's idea.
