b. 110

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

End of the slur in A (→GE) and EE

End of the slur in FE

..

In FE, the slur ends - unlike in all the other sources - on the semiquaver, which is an evident mistake.

b. 110

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

Possibly a short accent in A (→GE2GE3)

Possibly a long accent in A

No accent in GE1 (→FEEE)

b. 110

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

No accent mark in A (→GE1FEEE)

A short accent in GE2 (→GE3)

Our proposition

..

In A (→GE1FEEE) there is no accent on the 3rd beat of the bar, which seems to be a mistake in notation since there are accents in all the analogous bars. Therefore we suggest adding a long accent in that place. A similar thing was done in GE2 (→GE3).

b. 111

..

We add a cautionary  before b flat1 in the L.H. chord.

b. 111

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

No accent mark in A (→GE1FEEE)

A short accent in GE2 (→GE3)

The editors' alternative proposition

..

In GE2 (→GE3) an accent (short) was added above a flat2 at the beginning of the bar. Such a revision may seem justified by accents in analogous bars 107 and 109. Therefore we admit the possibility of adding an accent (long) following the pattern of the above-mentioned bars.
