Contextual interpretation of the slur of A (→GE→FE→EE)

The slur over bar 22 reaches over the 1st note of bar 23 in A . In the editors' opinion, this does not necessarily mean that the composer actually intended overlapping slurs here, as there are numerous slurring inaccuracies in A. In GE (→FE→EE) the slurs are separated.
