At the beginning of the bar in A one can see a deleted  before e1. The need to put that sign could, in our opinion, result from the uninterrupted transition in writing - perhaps also performing - from the Mazurka in G minor  to the Mazurka in C major.

By putting the  http://sm.multimatechopin.com/uploads/ckeditor/images/KASO.png before b2  in A (→GE), Chopin probably wanted to draw our attention to an unconventional melodic phrase with the characteristic Lydian fourth. Still, the natural was removed in the proofing of FE (→EE1EE2), which was evidently motivated by the intention to adhere to ordinary rules governing the use of cautionary accidentals. It is difficult to determine whether the correction was made on Chopin's request. The presence of http://sm.multimatechopin.com/uploads/ckeditor/images/KASO.png in EE3 is explained by the fact that the text of GE1 was used for its revision. The same situation occurs in bar 35.

Chopin's  before b2, present in A (→GE) and EE3, was removed in the proofing of FE (→EE1EE2). It was added back in EE3, as that edition was revised on the basis of GE.

A (→GE1FEEE) has a  before a1. As the use of that natural is quite unnecessary in the context, we omit it from our main text. It was also removed from GE2 (→#FE3).
