b. 25

composition: WN 55, Waltz in F minor

We consider the version of CC, in which the most bottom element of the chords is an a, to be erroneous; in the edited version, we change it to a b - chords like in AG (→CY).

b. 25-28

composition: WN 55, Waltz in F minor

..

In bars 25-28, there is a dynamic hairpin in AG. The arms of the last hairpin, ending in bar 28, are uneven: the bottom arm reaches the chord on the 2nd beat of the bar, whereas the top one reaches the 1st beat of the bar. A single crescendo hairpin in bar 25 (of the same range as in bar 25 in AG) is present also in FEF and GEF.

b. 25-30

composition: WN 55, Waltz in F minor

Within bars 25-30, the beginnings and endings of the phrase marks are written inaccurately and ambiguously. In all autographs, there are three phrase marks. We adopt the most possible interpretations:
- in AE, one can notice a small break in the slurring in the middle of bar 28. Perhaps Chopin wanted to write two phrase marks in this place that should be interpreted like in AO.

There is a dotted minim in the top voice in CC. We consider it to be a mistake of notation.
