In the sources the repeat sign faces only the left, which, considering the same sign at the end of the movement (bar 80), is a patent mistake. In young Chopin's pieces there are several such inaccuracies – cf. the Polonaise in A, WN 3, bars 13-38 or the Variations in E, WN 5, bars 92-107 – while later pieces are not free from such mistakes either, e.g. the Polonaise in C
minor, Op. 26 No. 1, bar 13 or the Polonaise in E
minor, Op. 26 No. 2, bar 21.
