As was the case with the earlier markings, Chopin added detailed pedal markings concerning these bars to A (→GE) after [FC] had already been finished. On the basis of GE1, the markings were also added to EE2, yet it was only the marks in bars 21-23, 37 and 39 that were repeated, while the remaining ones were replaced by a general indication sempre 
at the beginning of bar 24 (see also the note in bar 22).
