  b. 77-78

No markings in FC (→GE)

Pedalling in FE (→EE)

In these bars, the pedalling was almost certainly added in the stage of proofreading FE (→EE). It was absent in [A], since Fontana started writing  in bar 78 in FC and – most probably after having realised his mistake – he stopped, leaving the first line of the letter 'p'. On the other hand, the likelihood that the FE pedalling could have been entered by mistake is zero, since in analogous bars 93-94 we encounter the same difference between FC and FE.
