composition: Op. 28 No. 12, Prelude in G♯ minor

The 4th quaver in FE is an erroneous f1, as a result of which the next quaver is also wrong – it is an e1 instead of an e1. A comparison with analog. b. 9, 41 and 49 suggests a mistake; another argument is the presence of a , completely unjustified before f1. The mistake was rectified in EE; a corresponding correction is also in FED. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Annotations in teaching copies , EE revisions , Errors in FE , Annotations in FED |

In FED there is an added before a2 in the chord at the beginning of the bar. We also believe that it is advisable in this place, thus we give it in the main text. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Annotations in teaching copies , Annotations in FED , Cautionary accidentals |
