Issues : Omission of current key accidentals
b. 326
|
composition: Op. 16, Rondo in E♭ major
..
In FE (→EE), there are no naturals raising the A1-A octave to A1-A in the L.H. and the 3rd a semiquaver to a in the R.H. The mistake, patent in this context (cf. analogous bar 328), was corrected in GE and EE2 (→EE3). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , GE revisions , Omission of current key accidentals , Last key signature sign , Errors repeated in EE |

b. 329-330
|
composition: Op. 2, Variations, complete
..
As in many similar situations, in A the majority of the necessary accidentals are missing – Chopin wrote accidentals only to the 2nd quaver in bar 329 (e2-e3-g3-e4) and the next semiquaver (b3), the penultimate semiquaver in bar 329 (b1), the bottom note of the 2nd triplet in bar 330 (g) and the bottom note of the 6th triplet in bar 330 (d1). Assuming that the accidentals of the first two-quaver figure of the passage are also valid in the second one, all necessary accidentals were already added in GE1 (FE,EE,GE2→FESB,GE3). In FE a to e2 on the 4th L.H. quaver in bar 329 was also added. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions , Omission of current key accidentals , FE revisions |

b. 333
|
composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor
..
In FE there is no augmenting b to b. This is obvious inaccurracy in Chopin's notation, as when he wrote this bar in [A2] he was convinced that the change of key signatures had already taken place. category imprint: Differences between sources |

b. 358-359
|
composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III
..
In FE, the passage was probably reproduced strictly after [A] – it is missing naturals before the 4th, 9th, 11th and 12th semiquavers in bar 358, whereas in bar 359 accidentals are present only before the first two semiquavers. In the remaining editions, naturals were added – GE added all of them, while EE the majority of them (without the 4th and 9th notes in bar 358). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Accidentals in different octaves , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , Omission of current key accidentals , Errors repeated in EE |
