In A bars 97-107 and 113-119 are written in an abbreviated manner as repetition of bars 25-35 and 25-31 respectively. Chopin used empty bars, provided with subsequent letters of alphabet, however, he introduced a dynamic hairpin. In the first section it coincides exactly with the one present in bars 25-53, yet in the second it does not. The bars are not written out in any of the manuscripts. In As and AI the notation ends in bar 97, while in As the return to bar 34 is implicit, whereas in AI it is marked as Dal Segno al fine. In A, the next bars are marked with subsequent numerals from 2 to 31, which corresponds to bars 34-63 and bar 64 is written out entirely, probably to facilitate orientation in the abbreviated notation – the continuation of the Waltz is also written in an abbreviated manner. category imprint: Differences between sources; Source & stylistic information issues: Abbreviated notation of A |

In Atut, the majority of the semiquavers in bars 99-102 and 111-114 is written in an abbreviated manner as minims with tremolandos. It applies to the first 8 semiquavers in bars 100, 102, 112 and 114, entire bars 101 and 113 and the last 8 semiquavers in bar 111. In FE (→EE,GE1→GE2), all abbreviations were explained (like in our system).
