Issues : Errors repeated in EE

b. 40

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt II

..

On the 3rd beat of the bar A does not have flats lowering c1(2) to c1(2), which is Chopin's patent oversight: the A minor key is valid already from bar 37 and in the discussed bar it was confirmed by a  before the top most note of the passage in the 1st half of the bar. The sign in the R.H. was added already in GE (→FEEE), whereas the  in the L.H. was added only in GE2

b. 41

composition: Op. 28 No. 22, Prelude in G minor

G1 in A (→FCGE)

E1 in FE (→EE1)

D1 in EE2

..

The version of FE (→EE1) is a typical Terzverschreibung mistake, shockingly "corrected" in EE2.

b. 41

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

..

In FE (→EE1) there is no  restoring g2 in the last octave in the bar. The mistake was corrected in EE2 (→EE3) by adding sharps next to both notes of that octave; the same notation can be found in GE. In the main text we include only the necessary  next to g2. Likewise in b. 67.

b. 44

composition: Op. 28 No. 19, Prelude in E♭ major

..

In the last R.H. triplet, A (→FC,FE) contains only the  lowering d3 to d3. In GE and EE, a  was added before the next quaver (d2), yet the overlooked  restoring g2 on the last quaver of the bar is absent in all sources.

b. 44-46

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

..

In A (→FC,FE) accidentals were inserted very inaccurately – in total, 4 sharps and 12 naturals are missing – which, however, does not impede the determination of the correct text. Accidentals were being added in GE and EE, although it is only in EE2 that the notation is totally correct. The naturals before the b-b1 octave in b. 44 were also added in FED.
Interestingly enough, the notation of FCI is more accurate than the one of A – only one  and 5 naturals are missing.
