b. 94

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt II

Wedges in FE (→EE)

No marks in GE

..

Like in the case of the slur, the missing wedges over the 1st quaver in the bar (in both hands) in GE prove that Chopin most probably added them in the last phase of proofreading of FE (→EE).

b. 96

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt II

2 accents in FE (→EE)

1 accent in GE

..

One can ponder what type of accents Chopin meant in this bar – the markings are slightly longer than the undoubtedly short accent in bar 99, but clearly shorter than those in bar 94 (over e4) and 95 (over e). Due to this reason, we assume that they are short accents. The absence of the second marking in GE may be an oversight.

b. 97

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt II

No mark in FE (→GE,EE)

Accent suggested by the editors

..

The missing accent must be considered Chopin's inaccuracy – cf. analogous bars 46, 48 and 95.

b. 101

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt II

No mark in FE (→GE,EE1)

Staccato dot in EE2 (→EE3)

..

The staccato marked in EE2, although certainly added by the editor, in effect, describes well the actual way of performance.

No marks in FE (→EE,GE1GE2)

Staccato dots in GE3

Dots suggested by the editors

..

According to us, the missing staccato dots in this bar are to be considered an inaccuracy. The markings were added in GE3.
