Main text

In the main text we reproduce the little slur running from the grace note in the version of GC, in this case probably closest to [A]. The little slur can be, according to us, interpreted as a conventional sign, by playing the grace note and the fifth, or as a B1-B
-f arpeggio. The notation of FE (→EE) is most probably inaccurate (cf. the adjacent note), whereas of GE – routinely revised; at the same time, both eliminate the possibility of a double interpretation.
