The phrasing slur over both d2, visible in GC, was misinterpreted in GE as a tie. This non-authentic version was then repeated in EE2.

In b. 106 and 107, some or all bottom voice rests were overlooked in various sources:

  • both rests in b. 106 in FE;
  • the crotchet rest in b. 107 in GE;
  • all four rests in EE.

They seem to be the engravers' oversights (in EE and GE, it is also revisions that are likely – cf. b. 115). GC is provided with a detailed two-part notation, which we give in the main text.

In the main text we take into account the tie of the d1 note, written in GC (→GE) and probably overlooked in FE (→EE1). The tie was added in EE2 too.

In GE, there is no crotchet rest for the lower voice on the last beat, which could be the engraver's oversight (see the complete record in bars 112-114) or a revision – GE omitted the corresponding rest also in the analogous bar 107.
