b. 99

composition: Op. 64 No 3, Waltz in A♭ major

No slur in A

Slur above chords in FE (→EE,GE1opGE2opGE3op) & GE2Ab

Slur (tie) below chords in GE1Ab

..

The slur over the pair of chords could have been added by Chopin in the proofreading of FE. In GE1Ab it was moved under the chords, as a result of which it can be considered to be a tie of f1.

b. 105-106

composition: Op. 64 No 3, Waltz in A♭ major

 in A

 in FE (→EE)

No sign in GE1op & GE1Ab (→GE2Ab)

 in #GE2 op (→GE3op)

..

In the main text, we give the  hairpin on the basis of A. The versions of the editions are either an inaccurate image of A, as it is in the case of FE (→EE), or a result of a revision unifying similar places – GE2op (→GE3op). In the remaining GE the sign was overlooked.

b. 142

composition: Op. 64 No 3, Waltz in A♭ major

Two pedals in A

Bar-long pedal in FE (→GE1Ab,EE)

No pedal in GE1op (→GE2opGE3op)

Pedal for 2 beats in GE2Ab

..

FE (→GE1Ab,EE) overlooked the pedal change on the 3rd beat of the bar. In all GE of the entire opus the pedalling was generally overlooked in this bar. In GE2Ab the mistake of FE was partially corrected, by moving the  sign under the last chord.

b. 161-165

composition: Op. 64 No 3, Waltz in A♭ major

..

In the main text, we add cautionary flats before ain bars 161, 163 and 165. All signs were added already in GE1op (→GE2opGE3op), GE2Ab and EEW2, in turn, in EEW1 only the first two were added, whereas in GE1Ab – only the last one.

b. 161-165

composition: Op. 64 No 3, Waltz in A♭ major

3 slurs in A (→FEGE1op,GE1Ab)

4 slurs in EEC

3 slurs in EEW1 (→EEW2)

1 slur in GE2op (→GE3op) & GE2Ab

..

In the main text, we give the undoubtedly authentic slurring of A (→FEGE1op,GE1Ab). The same slurring was inaccurately reproduced in EEC. In turn, two remaining versions bear traces of intentional changes, arbitrary, although, from the practical point of view, quite accurate (particularly EEW).
