Issues : Cautionary accidentals

b. 30

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

In FE1 there is no  next to b2. Moreover, A (→FE1GE1) has no  before the first e1 in the L.H. It seems even that in A Chopin cancelled that sign probably considering valid the earlier  in the R.H. Remaining editions have these inaccuracies corrected.

In the main text we omit the superfluous  added in FE (→GE1GE2) next to the last in the bar.

b. 33

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

Cautionary flats next to e-g in the L.H. were added – possibly by Chopin – in the proofreading of FE1. A similar addition was performed in all subsequent editions.

b. 33

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

The notation of accidentals in the R.H. arpeggio is not fully compliant with rules of the orthography. Chopin needlessly repeated  next to a2 on the 2nd beat, but forgot  before the last demisemiquaver (c1). The omitted accidental was added in EE and GE2 (→GE3GE4).

b. 34-36

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

A has no  rising c1 to c1 in bars 34 and 36. The obvious inaccuracy of Chopin's notation was corrected in FE (→GE1) in bar 36, and in the remaining editions in both bars.

Instances of omitted essential naturals next to notes C in different octaves occur in A repeatedly in the whole section (bars 33-40).
