In bar 4 in A (→FE→GE,EE) the 3rd note of the 3rd triplet is a d
3 . In analogous bars 12 and 52 A has corrections whose outcome, particularly in bar 12, is not clear from the graphical point of view – d3 was probably changed to e3 but a reverse change could be the same. In FE (→GE1,EE2→EE3), uncertain notes were read as e3 and the accuracy of this interpretation was confirmed by Chopin in FED who left e3 unchanged in bars 12 and 52 and corrected d3 to e3 in bar 4. In GE2 (→GE3→GE4→GE5) es3 was changed to d3 in bars 12 and 52, returning the original version contrary to Chopin's intention. A similar change, yet only in bar 12, was introduced in EE4.
